So what is this blog thing all about? Hmmm, hard to say. Anything and everything, yet nothing in particular.
Posts will run the gamut - from music and reminiscing to "life in general." Like any other KFA project, it will probably end up more for our own entertainment than anything else. And if you just happen across our randomness and get something out of it, then that's just an added bonus.

KFA@Oiwakes 5.18.2013

Hosted by Aaron Takahashi with Music by Kreations From Above

In Japanese culture, YAKUDOSHI are the years of calamity. ("Yaku" means calamity, and "doshi" means year.) The belief is that people at the ages of Yakudoshi are likely to experience misfortunes or illness.

The most critical year for a man is the year he turns 42, because the numbers 4 and 2 ("shi" and "ni") are translated as death. According to tradition, men approaching their 42nd birthday throw a party in order to ward off bad luck.

With that in mind, we cordially invite you to YAKUDOSHI CELEBRATION 2013! Join your JA brothers as we promote health and good fortune!
